Description
Advanced Course in Leash Reactivity Leash reactivity is often a perplexing, embarrassing, and frustrating behavior problem! An owner might feel like his or her dog has two personalities—one that hates other dogs, and the other that allows him to play with his friends and at dog parks. How do you modify the behavior? Avoidance, punishment, desensitization, and counter-conditioning? Chances are, your clients have tried some methods with zero success. In this course, we’ll discuss how to assess the dogs’ motivations, as well as what techniques are appropriate based on the skill set of the handler/owner.
