Description

The International Working Dog Breeding Association is very proud to host the 10th International Working Dog Conference. These conferences are held every 2 years at strategically determined global locations. Previous venues for these conferences have been in Australia, Belgium, France, South Africa and the United States. The objective of these conferences is to create a collaborative environment where program managers and handlers, from international working dog programs, come together with researchers and subject matter resources from scientific disciplines which influence the working dog community. This meeting facilitates a unique opportunity to exchange critical information, which in turn results in advancement for numerous aspects of working dog programs. IWDC 2015, held in La Grande Motte, France was attended by 150 international delegates representing 30 countries. The theme for IWDC 2017 is: "Science and Innovation: Advancing Breeding, Early Development, Training and Deployment". Information concerning the conference is available at https://iwdc.iwdba.org/
