Description
When R+ training was first introduced, we thought you couldn’t make any serious mistakes by using it. We were wrong. While positive reinforcement training is mostly beneficial, it can backfire badly in a variety of ways. Sometimes the dog misunderstands, and you end up reinforcing the wrong behavior…sometimes it’s worse than that, and you actually create poor behavior. We’ll discuss how to analyze what techniques and methods might be used and when in order to get the responses you actually want.
