Description

Attendees to this seminar will hear the Changing Pieces of Pet Death Care, exploring a variety of elements of pet loss and learning how customer service for a family at this time will provide for a meaningful death experience, aiding in client retention. When a pet dies, individuals will grieve but may not mourn. Understanding these differences allows you to be a resource and helps you to guide families through their grief journey. As a pet care professional, companioning a family through the loss of their pet will provide a healthy environment for movement through the grief journey. This session will teach the various elements of companioning. As our North American culture struggles with death in general, the intricacies of the loss of a pet will add to the anxiety and the internal conflict for those that are experiencing a loss. Being aware of these intricacies will allow you to be a greater resource for your families. Rituals are so important in the grief journey. What pet parents want to do in honoring their pet and the life they shared together is vastly changing. This session is incredibly interesting as the attendees here the rituals pet parents are doing.
