Description

In this session Ken will focus on specific tools and techniques that he did not see used as often in the dog training world that he brought over from his work with exotic animals. These will include, but not limited to, the use of platforms for teaching stimulus control, the LRS for dealing with animal mistakes, multiple types of targeting for faster teaching of new skills, protected contact for working with difficult animals, teaching an all clear for scent detection dogs, and the value of relationships in enhancing reinforcement possibilities.
