Description

Behaviour problems are often a first sign of underlying disease, and dog training professions are sometimes the first ones to notice these signs. This presentation will cover common behavioural changes in cats and dogs that could indicate underlying medical problems. Behavioural cases with differential diagnoses in the clinical areas of dermatology, gastroenterology, neurology, and endocrine disorders will be explored. Ultimately, a team approach with veterinary and dog training professionals is needed to resolve many of these cases, so we will end with a discussion on how to build positive relationships with local veterinarians.
