Description

Any dog owner will tell you that they play an essential role their dog's lives, but what are the actual behavioral effects we have on our canines? In this lecture, Lindsay Mehrkam, M. S. will discuss both empirical research findings and the practical utility of how human interaction - our touch, our voices, and even just our attention - can bring out a wide range of behaviors in not only dogs, but also wolves, wolf-dog hybrids, and coyotes that demonstrate the positive - and sometimes negative side effects - of our close relationship with canines. A question and answer session will be held afterwords moderated by Dr. Monique Udell.
