Description

All dog lovers wish that they could understand their dogs better. But dogs use body language to communicate and dog owners often do not understand what they are trying to tell us. This course will go over the most common types of body language that dogs use so that owners can better understand their dogs. Being able to recognize body language will help you understand what your dog is feeling and perhaps avoid unpleasant events. An important benefit of this class is that by understanding canine body language, you will understand what other dogs are communicating and help you determine how safe they are. This course is ideal for children so that they can understand when it is not safe to approach a dog. It will also help them understand how their own dog is feeling. Children should be old enough to watch a power point and understand it. Carroll County Community College 1601 Washington Rd.
