FRIDAY – JUNE 8TH - Mirror of Competition – The first few competitions we participate in; ORT, NW1 even NW2 is the place where we find our flaws, or at least the mirror of the test day sometimes feels like it finds all our training gaps. To prepare we need to find those gaps before competition so we can be successful – it’s not always about getting a ribbon – sometimes the biggest lesson we paid to receive was to highlight what our dog learned from our training. If the dog learned to “false” near the hide then we taught them that with our reward style, timing or through some other misunderstanding. Let’s build on our skills to make sure we understand what our dogs have learned in training to date. LOCATION: MOFFAT COUNTY FAIR GROUNDS GRANDSTANDS BUILDING JUST EAST OF CRAIG.
