Description

The growth period is perhaps the most important opportunity to set our clients and patients up for a lifetime of satisfactory nutrition, healthy weight maintenance, and use of food as environmental enrichment for confined (indoor) pets. In this session, this perspective will be explained along with evidence supporting the theory and practical suggestions for veterinary caregivers to help their clients and patients achieve these goals. This session is offered as continuing education programming during the Midwest Veterinary Conference.
