CEU Request Committee
- Review requests from seminar/workshop hosts for CCPDT CEUs to determine if they meet the CEU Policy requirements
Examination Committee
- Work with our subject matter experts to develop new examinations
- Work with our psychometrician to ensure each examination is psychometrically sound
- Review and score videos from CPDT-KSA candidates
Professional Outreach Committee
- Community oriented
- Keep social media current
- Graphic design
Write On Committee
- Update & create brochures
- Publish newsletters
- Communication through the written word
Requirements & Duties
CEU Request Committee
- Time: Approximately 3 hours per month
- Required: access to the Internet to evaluate and vote on CEU Requests
Examination Committee
- Time: Approximately 3 hours per month; Additional 5 hours per week for 6 weeks around both April and October
- Conference Call Availability: 10-11am eastern time on the second Tuesday of each month
- Skills (any subset is helpful): creating/administering examinations; broad level of experience in training and human education
Professional Outreach Committee
- Time: Approximately 2 hours per week
- Conference Call Availability: 3pm-4pm eastern time on the second Monday of January, March, May, July, September and November
- Skills (any subset is helpful): Social media; graphics; writing; publishing
Write On Committee
- Time: Approximately 2 hours per week
- Conference Call Availability: 1pm-1:30pm eastern time on the second Monday of February, April, June, August, October and December
- Skills (any subset is helpful): Marketing; graphics; writing; publishing
Volunteer Qualifications
- Agrees with and supports The CCPDT’s mission statement, goals and objectives, and strategic plan.
- Thinks creatively and possesses the ability to initiate activities targeted to the growth and development of The CCPDT.
- Has strong collaborative skills with the ability to work in a team environment where the majority rules and to work independently and with ambiguity as needed.
- Can meet deadlines and be an active participant on the committee.
- Has strong interpersonal skills, writing skills and working knowledge of computers including email, Word, Excel and the Internet.
Conflict of Interest Policy
- All Committee Members are required to sign the CCPDT Non Disclosure Agreement
