One day seminar including the all new Behavior Adjustment Training information for 2014! When dealing with aggression, fear or frustration, BAT builds social skills, confidence around the triger and trust in the handler. While food or other rewards are used with BAT in some cases, the main focus of BAT is on giving the dog maximum control in the desensitization process. This seminar will use video clips with case studies using BAT set-ups, as well as videos of how to deal with problems that crop up, some related methods used in the last few decades and how to use BAT with other behavior modification techniques. There will also be a live demo with a dog with reactivity issues and you will get hands-on practice with leash-handling techniques that are essential for BAT.
