Description


• By the end of the hour, attendees will be able to identify the essentials of canine body language. Body language is broken down by each body part individually then how different signals are shown with the whole body. Photos and videos are used to help attendees identify behavior objectively. Understanding body language can help the animal welfare community place dogs more appropriately, have sound assessments, avoid bites, and provide better quality of life for dogs in their care. . This course is geared towards animal shelter staff/ volunteers and veterinary staff and is useful for dog trainers, doggie daycare owners, dog owners and groomers. Duration: 60 min 12-1pm PST
