This seminar dvd can be found at www.tawzerdog.com When taught to read stationary two-dimensional flash cards of commands previously taught verbally, dogs have demonstrated the ability to respond to flash card representations of dog stick figures with no prior experience. This illustrates a remarkable manifestation of the dog’s deductive reasoning abilities. Research indicates that humans who read have expanded abilities to conceptualize and solve problems. This suggests that teaching dogs to read may well expand the dog’s mental capabilities.
