K9 Nose Work is a fun new sport where dogs get to use their noses to search for specific odors. Dogs get to do what comes naturally and they have a blast. No prior training is needed and any dog can participate. Great for building confidence in shy dogs, and providing an activity for senior dogs. Whether you choose to compete for titles, or just do it for fun, your dog will love you for it! Introduction to K9 Nose Work lays the foundation for getting started, with a combination of lectures, videos and participating working dogs. There are 10 working spots each day, and we are looking for dogs that have LITTLE OR NO EXPERIENCE WITH K9 NOSE WORK. Our presenter, Jill Marie O'Brien, is a founding member of the organization. For a copy of the flyer with complete information about the seminar, please e-mail Mickey Schufman at and put NW Seminar Info in the subject line.
