In the Foundation section, Terry discusses relationship building. Having a good relationship with your dog is crucial to both training and living happily ever after with your dog. In many ways, relationship building requires an understanding of basic learning principles. And - the hard part for trainers working with clients - training ourselves to change OUR behavior. This topic also includes some basic training and management exercises such as \"go to your place,\" cut off techniques for bringing your dog\'s arousal level down, and crucial puppy work.
