This workshop combines lecture with hands-on work. Participants will learn how differential reinforcement and behavior shaping can be applied to a variety of training and behavior scenarios. Participants will also apply the concepts of shaping and differential reinforcement with their own dog or one assigned to them. Limited to a total of 10 dog/handler teams and 20 audit spots. Two auditors will teamed up with 1 dog/handler team to create and implement a training plan using the concepts of Shaping, Chaining and DR. Participants should leave this seminar with a working understanding of the concepts of Target Behaviors, Training Plans, Shaping, Chaining, Differential Reinforcement and when each is or is not appropriate for the training or behavior plan.
