In this one session webinar, Suzanne Hetts, PhD., CAAB, and Kathy Sdao, M.A., ACAAB and Dan Estep, Ph.D., CAAB take a critical look at what they believe to be “sacred cows” that are interfering with successful training and behavior modification, not only for individual trainers and pet owners, but for the profession as a whole. To pique your interest, one “sacred cow” we’ll be examining is “nothing in life is free”. Warning! This class is best consumed with an open mind and a willingness to consider alternatives to techniques, procedures or beliefs you’ve long held dear. But the rewards are many. You’ll be able to improve the tools in your toolbox, abandon ones that are irrelevant or less effective, and come away with a better understanding of the “whys” of dog behavior you can impart to your clients.
