With the ever-increasing number of public dog-parks, and the ever-increasing need for owners to offer their dogs safe, legal off-leash activity, how can we create a safer, healthier experience for both dog and owner? With so much emphasis on off-leash dog-dog interactions currently in the dog world, from dog training classes, puppy classes, socializatioin, day care for busy owners, dog parks for urban dog owners, the need to understand dog-dog behaviors is great. Through extensive video footage of dog-dog interactions, social conflict, socialization, play and owner behavior, Sue will define the benefits and drawbacks of off-leash interaction between unfamiliar dogs.
