Dogs that are uncontrollable on leash when another dog approaches are one of the most common behavior issues many dog owners face. Fellow BEN member Donna R. has brought us a case of a dog that had a previous history of playing reasonably well with other dogs when housed at a shelter, but his behavior is becoming an increasing problem for his new owner. This dog – Rio – and his behavior has raised other questions for Donna regarding what causes these problems and how they can best be prevented.
