Internationally renowned speaker, Veterinarian and Animal Behaviorist, Dr. Sophia Yin will present a 2-day seminar about fear and aggression in dogs and cats. This informative seminar will be invaluable to Veterinarians, Vet Techs, animal professionals and enthusiasts alike! Specifically, Day 1 will include: Learning and punishment; Recognizing brewing fear and aggression and reversing both in a clinical setting and in the home environment and Low-Stress Handling of dogs and cats in a clinical or shelter setting. The program for Day 2 will include: Learning to Earn: teaching impulse control to dogs and developing leadership skills in humans; Understanding body language: hands-on (space for seven dog handler teams); Genes and behavior: working against fate; and finally, a global approach to handling the human-aggressive dog.
