A seasoned trainer, Michele has been a professional guide dog trainer since 1974 and is the Director of Research and Development for programs at Guide Dogs for the Blind. She is a regular presenter at Clicker Expo and is known throughout the musical freestyle world for her extraordinarily entertaining routines. She has won two international competitions and earned an impressive four championship titles. In 2008 she received the first perfect score in WCFO’s challenging Champion division. The following year she earned perfect scores from all three judges at the 2009 International competition. She and teammate Australian Shepherd Listo have accumulated 10 sets of double ten perfect scores in freestyle. Michele’s techniques for training are positive, fun and valuable for all canine sport and any canine-human interaction. She is a clear, organized, observant and entertaining presenter.
