In 2013 Diane's material will be presented in book and ebook formats. The Canine Emotional detox is a process to neutralize stress toxins in challenging canines - from aggression to high level reactivity, sound sensitivities, hyperativity, separation anxiety and more. It focuses on intense, heavy relaxation processes for the canine; on intense mentally stimulating activities to stimulate the mind and increase confidence and learning ability and retention and on physically stimulating activities to exercise muscles and release harmful glucocorticoids. The emotional well-being of a canine improves learning ability, retention and results with behavior modification programs. Diane has more than 120 case studies to date over two years and has been developing and studying the process for six years. Students will have lecture (powerpoint) on the science behind the detox, hands-on experiences, and behavior learning lab observations. The workshop is limited to six dog teams and unlimited auditors. Focus will be on performance dogs, fearful rescue dogs at this seminar.
