Corinna Melanie, CPDT-KA, and owner of Paws Alive Dog Training, is proud to offer: * Group socialization/obedience classes for puppies and dogs of all ages and stages * Private, one-on-one lessons for those seeking a more personal, customized training experience * Specialized, intensive, month-long rehabilitation programs for dogs with fear, territorial, predatory, and dominant aggression, or any other deep-seated behavioral problems. Consisting of several private sessions each week, this comprehensive approach will allow you to see progress as we go! Once completed, you'll be left in control and in the know, not to mention in the company of a much more safe, happy, balanced dog. By giving you tools to communicate effectively with your canine, let us facilitate a peaceful, loving bond between you and your pup that lasts a lifetime. Call 240.994.8248 to book an evaluation now! For as long as I can remember, I've been inspired by and fascinated with animal behavior - particularly, what makes dogs tick. I've spent years studying dog psychology, behavior, and physiology, and work with private clients in developing personalized, effective, and, most importantly, realistic training goals and regimens for both person and pup. For the last three years, I've had experience working with dogs of varying breeds, ages, and temperaments in addressing a vast array of behavioral issues including aggression (fear-based and otherwise, toward dogs and/or people), lack of socialization, polite leash-walking, to curbing unwanted jumping and excessive barking. I develop a relationship with clients based on trust, knowledge, expertise, consistency, and always facilitate respectful communication to ensure everyone is on the same page. Instead of just "fixing" a dog, I provide people with knowledge and the practical means to make the human-canine relationship more enjoyable. Instead of just a "trainer", I see myself more as a diplomat, liaison, and translator between dog and human. To watch the joy and relief that comes when this communication gap is bridged is extremely rewarding. I feel very lucky to have landed a dream career in which I have both the honor and pleasure of helping animals and people live healthier, stress free, fulfilling lives, together. Links:
