Come spend three days with Ken McCort, the animals, and staff of Wolf Park. Participants will be invited to enter a gray wolf enclosure with the staff to get face-to-face interactions with these magnificent animals (situation permitting) as well as meeting the foxes and bison. There will be opportunities to observe all of Wolf Park’s animals. Ken will demonstrate training techniques with the foxes, coyotes, and wolves. This is a great opportunity to learn through demonstrations, lectures, and interactions with the canids of Wolf Park. McCort will emphasis new research on neuro-biology and how it affects training. Other possible topics may include learning theory, drives and breed differences in behavior. This is an opportunity to learn about a variety of canids, with lots to see and do, that dog lovers and trainers will not want to miss! Participants will also be invited to join in Howl Night opportunities, early morning wolf observation time and a presentation on wolf body language and safety. Each participant will receive a personalized folder full of information about the park. Sign up today for an event you will never forget! There will be three very full days of activities. Gates open at 8:30 on Friday. Participants may also join the Friday and Saturday Howl night programs. The seminar will conclude by 5 p.m. on Sunday. All three breakfasts, lunches, and one diner are included in the fee.
