Description
This course will be a five-day hands on course in Reno Nevada from January 23-27, 2017. This entire course will be hosted by Joel Silverman. This is 70% hands on, and 30% powerpoint presentation. The course is marketed towards: - Professional dog trainers looking for continuing education - Dog day care businesses looking to expand their business to include basic dog training - Anyone looking to simply get a better grasp on animal behavior through practical training Joel will focus on his What Color is Your Dog "personality dog training" approach. A dog is given a color based on their personality. He will also split the hands on training into to groups... dog training, and problem solving. The basic behaviors that will be taught will be sit (using treats and using gentle manipulation), stay, lie down, and the recall.
