Description
The presentation is intended to inform the audience of disaster response work in an emergency animal shelter and the challenges of working in that environment. An emergency animal shelter is a unique environment which brings out extreme behavior in the animals within. This audience has the skills, training and knowledge to make them uniquely qualified to assist in the care and evaluation of these animals. The presentation is intended to show them what additional training they will need to help in these situations and next steps for responding either locally or nationally.
