TrickMeister – Mastering Fun and Increasing Your Team Knowledge and Skills Journeyman Webinar One aims to increase the knowledge and training skills of both pet dog guardians and pet professionals. Learn how to use D.O.E. to increase speed of acquisition of different behaviors Refine your knowledge of luring, targeting, capturing and shaping. Learn how to use “Touch” to teach new tricks. Understand Emotional Contagion Increase your knowledge of canine communication Learn about distance increasing and decreasing signals Understand the use of “No Reward Markers” and why you should or shouldn’t use them Understand the term Negative Reinforcement Clarify your understanding of The Four Quadrants of Operant Conditioning: Positive Reinforcement, Positive Punishment, Negative Reinforcement and Negative Punishment. Understand Respondent Conditioning and how to use this learning process to engender happy learners Understand different applications of both Operant and Respondent Learning You will also learn how to teach the following 'tricks'/behaviors: *Figure 8 (Weave around legs in shape of figure 8) *Take a Bow *Go Round (Move away from handler, go round object/ person/ animal & return to handler)
