For the first time in Wolf Park history, participants will have the unique opportunity to train our wolves and foxes inside their enclosures. Training will be under the supervision of Wolf Park staff and Ken McCort. Participants will work as a team to create a training program, implement their plan and problem solve with Ken and Wolf park staff through workshops and advanced lectures. For Experienced Professional Trainers ONLY Eligibility Requirements: • Experienced trainer who has at least worked with multiple types of dogs, preferably not just their own. • Familiarity with: lure and reward training target training the use of a marker signal (like a clicker or whistle) training with the use of successive approximations reward scheduling and variable reward systems training without the use of force, intimidation and/or aversive control • Ability to work outside in close proximity to all participating animals • Talent to learn and have fun simultaneously Educational Opportunities: • Learn to develop training strategies for solving behavior problems then implement behavior modification with selected park animals. • Work in cooperation with other trainers to develop a team approach to implementing the strategies. • Lecture and group discussions with other experienced trainers
