Description

Dog trainers often receive requests for assistance with problematic cat-dog relationships, or for advice on adding one species to a home with the other species already residing there. Typically, the caller calls after an altercation has already occurred. But what any cat savvy person knows all too well: cats are NOT simply little dogs and cannot be treated nor trained as such. It is critical that trainers understand the subtle nuances of feline behavior, and the delicate ins and outs of the inter-species relationship before taking on cat clients. This course will walk dog trainers through the process of addressing common cat-dog problematic relationships. You will learn to decide whether adding a few cat cases to your repertoire is right for you - and right for the cat. Some may be shocked to learn that cat cases are not for them, while others may discover their inner feline.
