Description

Based on 18 years of observing dogs being dogs, interacting and playing together. Not just watching dogs, but learning from them in our daily association with over 70 dogs in an ever-changing, interactive Doggie Daycare. The program includes videos of dogs communicating with other dogs in ways most of us don't see in our dogs' day-to-day life, even in a multi-dog household. Videos include examples of dogs having fun; telling another dog off; inviting one to play; asking for space; settling disputes; disciplining, and much more. When we study what dogs say to each other and how they say it, we become better able to understand and communicate with our own dogs. To communicate with each other more easily, our daycare staff has classified personality characteristics and behaviors different from standard labels. These are classifications of play and behavior that more accurately describe a dog's individual personality - maybe even your own dog. The program includes some unusual and even bizarre true stories we can't explain, we just observe and relate them. An unusual program that will both enlighten and entertain anyone who loves dogs!
