Description
Classical counterconditioning is used by dog trainers to reduce aggression in dogs. However, owners do not implement treatment as prescribed (i.e., treatment integrity). The program described addresses treatment integrity failures and provides techniques for increasing treatment integrity. Data suggest that the program increases owner treatment integrity, thereby reducing aggression in the long run. The program is designed to be used by dog trainers when working with clients.
