Description

The morning session will be a hands-on session covering handling skills. When working with or interacting with dogs, it is critical that we go beyond a basic understanding of their communication. We must be aware of our own body language and how to ensure we are keeping ourselves and the dogs safe and comfortable. During this informative session, we will cover everything you need to know to help your dog experience stress-free vet and groomer visits and live a happy and enjoyable life with their interactions in our human world. We will also conduct a short hands-on session to review all of the first aid skills with dogs. Whether you work with or live with dogs, having a solid comprehension of what to do in an emergency is critical and should be a requirement for all. We will wrap up the day with a hands-on clicker training session with our dogs! Topics Covered: - Handling 101 - Human Body Language - Dog First Aid - Shaping/Clicker Training
