Description

Dogs get introduced to the world of jumping, climbing, balancing over, crawling under, and going around different obstacles in their everyday world. Parkour can be done anywhere and is limited only by one’s imagination. Dog Parkour helps with confidence and overcoming fears, and it is a low impact but challenging activity for any canine athlete. During this seminar we will cover history of dog parkour, dog parkour philosophy, safety and spotting, developing parkour eye, and individual obstacles including some advanced skills such as gap jumps and tic tacs. Sunday morning will have an outdoor component in order to get the true dog parkour experience. This seminar will also include an instructor add on section, specifically for dog trainers who are looking to teach parkour.
