Description
Bringing a dog into a family with children—or bringing home a two-legged baby into a family with a four-legged baby—can be an exciting time. However, without proper preparation and planning, it can also be a recipe for disaster. Offered as part of the Midwest Veterinary Conference, this session will review planning for and introducing human and canine babies into the same family. The presenter will share recommendations from her personal experience as both a mother and a veterinary behaviorist.
