Description

“Zen”, in the general sense, describes a set of practices from Buddhism that emphasize self-control, and a style of meditation. In dog training, Zen describes a series of training and behavior modification exercises that can dramatically improve self-control, frustration tolerance, arousal control and provide a platform for better focus, concentration and retention of trained behaviors. In this webinar, we’ll talk about the origins of dog Zen, demonstrate the basic moves, and then review how the concepts of Zen can be incorporated into training and the regular daily interactions with dogs to attain better focus and thoughtful behavior.
