Description

What exactly is Behavior Adjustment Training (BAT) 2.0? Many trainers are still learning the difference between the early introduction of BAT and where BAT 2.0 is today... and it's a pretty significant difference! I've been working along side Grisha Stewart since 2012 with the Instructor Certification Program and am excited to present a BAT 2.0 overview to DTASC. We will review the foundations of BAT including the BAT Set-Up, leash skills and why two key primary reinforcers are the cornerstones to BAT. Basically, you'll learn what BAT 2.0 should look like for you as the trainer, and for your clients, too! BAT is a method that increases calm, relaxed behavior for both the dog and human. Through the BAT process, we create opportunities for the dog to interact organically with the environment in emotionally and physically safe ways. The result is an adaptable team that is ready for the world.
