Description
In this workshop, you will expand your clicker skills and train advanced behaviors using shaping and targeting. Increasing the use of these skills improves your dog's speed in learning and understanding criteria for new behaviors. Workshop attendees will work on already started or "wish list" behaviors of their choice as well as instructor-guided exercises. Attendees with an understanding of basic clicker training skills will attain maximum benefit from the material in this workshop. Topics include: Shape, Target or Lure? Considerations in Capturing Breaking Down Complex Behaviors Creating a Flexible Training Plan When and How to Raise Criteria Adding Cues to Shaped Behaviors Trouble-Shooting Sessions
