Description

For a variety of reasons, pet owners usually assume that their cat has an acute problem and therefore expect a pharmaceutical cure. After stabilzing the cat, the next step is to help owners understand what is going on and what they can do about it. This session will discuss the many recommended medical treatments for cats with Pandora syndrome--including multimodal environmental modification (MEMO), which has been found to be effective treatment for these patients--and how to help clients understand and implement them. This session is offered as continuing education programming during the Midwest Veterinary Conference.
