Description
Three-day workshop combining advanced behavioral science lectures with hands-on application. Open to equestrians, as well as experienced dog trainers, zoo-keepers and avian trainers. Participants will work directly with a variety of horses, with a focus on teaching cooperative care and husbandry, overcoming fear, and resolving behavior challenges. Because horses are large and eat 16-18 hours per day, this workshop will provide a high ratio of actual hands-on training time. (Note – all training is on the ground – this is a non-riding event.) Auditor/Observer participation also available.
