Description

We are so excited to welcome Nicole Wilde to Austin, Texas to present her seminars Helping Fearful Dogs (Saturday, November 11) and Two Timely Topics: Separation Anxiety & Dog-Dog Play (Sunday, November 12). "Helping Fearful Dogs" is an information-packed workshop that combines lecture, photographs, and extensive video footage to explore the art of working with fearful dogs, with some overlap into fear-based aggression. "Two Timely Topics: Separation Anxiety & Dog-Dog Play" covers two important topics that will be applicable whether you are an owner, trainer, rescue/shelter worker, or other canine professional or enthusiast. In the morning, Nicole will cover separation anxiety through lecture and video, providing advice on handling this really complex and challenging problem for dogs, owners, and sometimes even for trainers. In the afternoon, using lecture and video Nicole will explain the subtleties of play in order to prevent aggressive incidents and to keep dogs healthy both physically and psychologically.
