Description

Leash Skills and Drills • Seminar Presenter: Amy Herot, NACSW™ Co-founder, CPDT-KA Great leash work is an art form carefully honed, practiced and applied. When it is going well, it’s like a perfect in sync dance with the dog. When leash handling goes wrong, it can be a clumsy mess interfering with the dog’s ability to do the work or the handler’s ability to observe and work with the dog efficiently. The goal of this hands-on workshop is to provide exercise ideas and practice opportunity in the context of very specific types of K9 Nose Work searches, through demonstrations, group exercises, hands-on activities and discussions. The morning will set the stage and in the afternoon emphasis will be on the application of leash work including vehicle and container searches. Perfect for handlers and instructors. Amy Herot is offering this special version of her new full-day workshop for PA Camp 2017.
