Something has happened to the word "threshold." Surprisingly, the way the term is used in the force free dog training community is comparatively new. The general consensus is that the term "over threshold" refers to a dog that has been adversely affected by a stimulus and demonstrating that by overt behavior. However, this usage differs from the original definition of "threshold
