Description

This course includes a number of exercises that help students build animal-training specific skills designed to specifically improve timing, concentration, clicker accuracy and dexterity, and quantitative tracking of rate of behavior, accuracy of treats delivery, and handling multiple pieces of equipment. The student will video record themselves carrying out specific training exercises, succeeding once specific quantitative criteria have been met and analyzing the video for self-improvement. Bouncing ball exercise for timing, concentration, clicker accuracy and dexterity, and quantitative tracking of rate of behavior Tossed ball exercise for timing, concentration, clicker accuracy and dexterity, and quantitative tracking of rate of behavior Ball and treat exercise for timing, concentration, clicker accuracy and dexterity, quantitative tracking of rate of behavior, and accuracy of treats delivery Targeting exercise for timing, concentration, clicker accuracy and dexterity, location and treat delivery, and handling multiple pieces of equipment.
